About the Author
Paul Milligan (1954–2026) built and led businesses for more than four decades, from first ventures through a family of healthcare companies serving communities across Texas. He believed business was a calling, that the marketplace was a mission field, and every enterprise a stewardship entrusted by God.
He mentored generations of leaders, gave generously, and wrote Kingdom Business in his final season so that what he had learned would outlive him. He is remembered and loved by a family determined to do exactly that.
Why "Zikaron"?
Zikaron (זִכָּרוֹן) is the Hebrew word for remembrance — a memorial that keeps covenant faithfulness alive from one generation to the next. It is the word for the stones drawn from the Jordan, for the Passover meal, and for the moment God told Moses: "Write this for a memorial in a book" (Exodus 17:14).
Our seal is the Hebrew letter zayin, the first letter of zikaron, set in an engraver's oval — a maker's mark for a family that believes what God has done should be written down and handed on.
Every book we publish is itself an act of remembrance.
